SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WOMEN RESIDENTS OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE
The American Association of University Women was founded in 1882 for the
purpose of "uniting of the alumnae of different institutions for practical
educational work." In accordance with the goal of working for broader
opportunities for women, the Wilmington Branch of the Association offers
annual scholarships of varying amounts to women pursuing a baccalaureate or
graduate degree at an accredited college or university.
To be eligible you must be
A U.S. citizen, a Delaware resident, and a high school graduate
OR
A U.S. citizen, a Delaware resident and a senior at a public or private high
school in New Castle County
OR
A U.S. citizen, a New Castle County, Delaware resident, Home-schooled student and can meet University of Delaware admission requirements. (See *Note below.)

supporting materials must be postmarked on or before February 15, 2008.

*Note for Home school applicants: These scholarships are open to home-schooled applicants who are U.S. citizens, New Castle County, Delaware residents, and can meet University of Delaware admission requirements.
